Sparx Cartoonists was established in 1998 and represents leading professional cartoonists, comic book artists and caricature artists as well as guiding new talent into the creative pool.

These artists produce comic srips and cartoons for major newspapers, magazines, educational publications and ad agencies.

Welcome to the home of South Africa's top cartoonists, illustrators and caricature artists. Many of the artists have worked for local and international newspapers, Nanda Sooben, Colin Daniel, Rico of Madam and Eve and Alastair Findlay amongst others. A number of cartoonists are also highly talented caricature artists who are hired at weddings, birthdays and corporate functions - notably Gareth Williams, Tinus Horn, Dean Foster and Pete Woodbridge.

As well as cartoonists and caricature artists, this site features a number of excellent comic book artists, notably Dave Edwards, Ben McAllen, Gary Bottger, Alistair Ackermann, Hennie Blaauw, Tinus de Bruyn and Sandy Lightly.

The cartoonists and illustrators featured on this website have been commissioned by South African publishers, advertising agencies, newspapers, magazines and corporates as well as by numerous clients in America (USA), Canada, England, Ireland, Dubai, Australia and Japan.
